Human Resources AdvisorLocation All ManawatuManawatu Job type Permanent Salary to Category Administration > Other » Permanent role Monday to Friday » Pay range $65-95k » Fantastic opportunity to bring your skills, experience and ideas to the role As a People and Capabilities Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our people strategies and initiatives. Reporting to the HR Manager you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive employee engagement, development, and performance. Key Responsibilities: » Provide expert advice and guidance on all matters related to New Zealand employment law, including but not limited to employment agreements, disciplinary processes, grievances, and terminations. » Partner with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that align with business objectives and foster a positive and inclusive work environment. » Support the design and delivery of training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and capabilities. » Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. » Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and best practices in people management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. » Assist with the administration of HR systems and processes, including employee data management, reporting, and analytics. Qualifications and Skills: » Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Law, or a related field. » Extensive knowledge and understanding of New Zealand employment law, with demonstrated experience in providing employment relations advice and support. » Proven experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and legislation. » Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. » Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making. » Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. » Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
