About the function
Do you have strong engagement expertise and the capability to nurture significant collaborations? Our Member Engagement team is committed to ensuring our iwi members can make the most of their nib health care. Do you have what Information technology takes to support increased access and better practices in health for iwi?
The key purpose of your function as Kai?rahi / Iwi Health Navigator is to support iwi members covered under nib to better health through assistance with population health programmes, claims uptake and complex claim navigation.
About you
   » Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication expertise demonstrating empathy and knowledge to build relationships of trust and confidence
   » Highly organised, capable of prioritising and managing workload autonomously
   » A methodical and careful approach to issues
   » Cultural competency to enable significant engagement with M?ori groups, a deep knowledge of tikanga and a good knowledge of Te Reo M?ori
   » Aware of scope of practice boundaries, comfortable seeking direction and assistance from appropriate sources
   » capability to maintain confidentiality of information for patients, team members and your employer
   » Display a positive attitude and is a positive agent for change
   » Work as part of a team and collaborate with co-workers
   » An knowledge of nib products
   » A sound level of computer expertise, including Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel
