Job Opportunity: Operations Manager:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust Closes 4 Jun 2021 Posted on 24 May 2021 Region Otago Work type Contract Work classification Technical Staff & Logistics ShareThe Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust, along with it's partner organisations the Dunedin Arts Festival, and a Prospect Park Productions, are piloting a new space for performance and visual art in the centre of?tepoti/Dunedin. We require an practiced Operations Manager to lead the transformation of a white walled space into a functional theatre available to support the local sector, and visiting practitioners,to meet, hui, rehearse, workshop, and exhibit, and perform. Excellent communication expertise will be required as sector engagement is crucial to the success of the pilot. Detailed expertise of technical matters will also be required, especially with regards to inputting into funding applications to achieve the next phase of the project. The Operations Manager will work within a small team also consisting of a Producer-in-Residence, and a Database/Marketing Manager. They will utilise the administration and office space ofthe Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust and report to that organisation'sDirector. This is a fixed term independent contractor position until 30 April 2022 with an intended outcome being the continuation of the project beyond this date. The pilot has been funded by Creative New Zealand's Ng? Toi ?
