We have a part-time admin/event organizer role available in Dunedin. This is the perfect opportunity for you to get your foot in the door and gain valuable skills in a corporate setting. Applicants must be detail-orientated, adept with technology, have a passion for customer service and keen to learn. This part time role is a Monday through Friday, day-time role, hours are flexible.
What we require:
   » Experience in the administrator role
   » Prefer someone with experience in organizing events
   » Strong communication skills and organizational skills
Duties include:
   » Begin agenda format planning
   » Get quotes to finalize the budget
   » Additional contracts (like hotel accommodations, transportation, equipment rental)
   » Compile all information about the conference and liaise with the Comms team
   » Begin promoting conference theme, location, and registration rates
   » Compile all information about the conference and liaise with the Comms team
   » Prepare "Day of Coordination" list
   » Contact vendors to begin planning logistics (like videographer, photographer, A/V, menu, etc.)
   » Prepare session and post-event survey
   » Finalize special event details (MEC banners, flowers, etc.)
   » Provide updates to the session moderators, MC for the Conference
   » Arrange a pre-conference meeting for the lead to walk-through
   » Send email updates to participants/speakers
   » Review all set-ups and A/V needs
