You'll be working with an experienced multidisciplinary team that's dedicated to providing high-quality mental health and addiction services to patients and their families. The role: You'll have the opportunity to work in different clinical settings and we'll support your ongoing professional development. Your main responsibilities will be conducting assessments, managing risk, developing treatment plans, and providing individual/group therapy to patients with mental health difficulties. You'll also need to coordinate care for patients and their families and work closely with partner agencies in the community. The successful applicant will become part of our Child Adolescent Mental Health Service, Kapiti Team, where you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality psycho-social assessment and treatment. You will also have a strong focus on recovery and the ability to undertake comprehensive psychological assessments and case management. Successful applicats will: » Work well in a team » Value the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi » Engage with patients from different cultural backgrounds. » Have excellent communication skills, » Be competent with technology » Have experience working with patients who have moderate to severe mental health issues and addiction. Key requirements for this role are: A post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology or relevant qualifications working with youth and their families, provided you are a Resgistered psychologist.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential The ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide person/family-centered care. Being skilled and competent with Information Technology and have experience working with people with moderate to severe mental health issues and addiction.
