The Local Government Branch is Government's chief advisor on local government. We partner with local government and central government agencies to achieve the Government's policy objectives for the sector. The Branch brings together local government skills and specialist policy advice to achieve the Government's reform programme for local government. this function is a key support across the Branch, and in particular to our Partnerships Directors and provides a professional, effective and efficient level of administrative support services. this function will add value and improve the Local Government Branch workplace practice by providing effective administration, organisational process and system support.
