Whakarongorau Aotearoa has the privilege of running free to the public, virtual health, mental health, and social services for the people of Aotearoa.
Our 12 clinical teams and support services are located across contact centres in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and from their homes across Aotearoa.
We want to give everyone in Aotearoa the opportunity for wellness. We focus on the connected world of digital care, where we can help join all the dots, and select the right services, advice, support and help for the right need.
Through our 30+ services we connected with over 950,000 people last year (to 30 June 2021).
We use our healthy imagination to deal with big problems by knowledge the tiny ways that people are blocked from getting the care they deserve. Our imagination comes from our people and our partners and their drive to never give up.
Atu mo te mahi – About the function
Lead and deliver strategic Employee practice business partnering to define and implement people strategies and to provide high quality advice for our leaders. Lead a small team of Business Partners to meet our purpose to deliver better health results for our employees and service users.
Your team will achieve these results through becoming trusted advisors, building in-depth knowledge of customers and business drivers?through excellent stakeholder relationships, providing advice on management of complex people issues and workforce planning.
You’ll relish working with the wider Employee practice (Ex) leadership abilities to ensure the provision of timely, consistent coaching, advice, compliance and support on all aspects of People Capcapability and current legal requirements to our people leaders. Enabling them to build a culture that is aligned with Whakarongorau Aotearoa’s values.
Your team will be an integral part of business operations, leading organisational change and ensuring we have a consistent approach when Information technology comes to aligning people and business strategies to design and deliver significant and practical People solutions and equip our leaders for success.
Pehea koe – About you
Your demonstrated leadership abilities practice, significant knowledge of current Ex practises, and your senior business partnering expertise in a complex organisation, will be the key to your success. You’ll be confident operating as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to Executive leaders while developing your team to deliver the same.
Use your strong technical knowledge, across all aspects of Ex management to effectively coach and mentor others to enhance overall capcapability in our HR practice ensuring good employer principles and practices and expected high standards of integrity, ethics, and behaviour.
