Would you like to play an integral function in the delivery of UC’s Pacific Development student recruitment, retention and achievement strategy?
What You Will Do
We have a great opportunity for a Pacific Future Student Advisor to work collaboratively with UC’s Liaison and Pacific Development teams in continuing to enhance the growth of Pacific students to UC. You will work to ensure the University’s offerings are shared with Pacific students by developing an effective sales strategy for key schools and organisations that educates and inspires students and encourages them to come to UC. In an effort to achieve this, some travel will be required in order to build effective relationships with schools and students across the country.
You will use your passion for education along with your excellent sales expertise to provide accurate advice and information to assist and empower students in making key study decisions, through presentations, face to face appointments, events, and a range of communications.
Who You Are
Naturally, you will have an outgoing personality, with a passion and enthusiasm for working in the education sector. Attributes required to be prosperous in this function include:
   » knowledge and growing competence in a Pacific language, customs and protocols
   » leadership abilities expertise, with creativity and innovative thinking
   » exceptional verbal and written communication expertise and outstanding interpersonal expertise with a good knowledge and appreciation of other cultures.
   » success in a sales or account management function
   » practice in report writing, excellent organisation expertise and the capability to meet deadlines
   » proven presentation expertise with confidence to address a wide variety of audiences, is essential
   » practice dealing with Pacific support networks and agencies.
