About the function We are seeking for two midwifery lecturers to join our dynamic team for Te Kuratini o Waikato Bachelor of Midwifery programme. We have a?commitment to excellence in our teaching and support of midwifery ?konga.?We are interested in hearing from people with a strong desire to support work towards equitable results for M?ori and mana-enhancing Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnerships. This is your opportunity to positively impact on the midwifery journey for ?konga and help to grow our future workforce. You will work with ?konga to support their learning by providing teaching within the degree programme?and?facilitating?student problem solving, reflection on practice and skills development. Are you an ideal candidate? To be eligible for consideration, you will demonstrate the following: » Be a Registered Midwife within Aotearoa, with at least five years’ practice who is passionate about midwifery education » Have a strong knowledge of M?tauranga M?ori » Have knowledge of Te Reo and Tikanga M?ori » Be committed to working in a Te Tiriti honouring programme » Confident with clinical, face to face and the online teaching environment » A passion for supporting students to succeed » significant teaching practice, professional development for an Adult Tertiary Teaching certificate can be provided » Hold a Masters’ or PhD degree or be currently engaged?in continuing or committed?to start?post graduate?education Working at Wintec One of New Zealand’s leading tertiary institutes, Wintec’s focus is on innovation and future-proofing.
