We are seeking experienced Production workers that have the ability to work on a roster system. Key responsibilities for the Production Operator include: » Performing your duties in a safe manner » Preparation and delivery of raw materials into production machinery » Operation of production equipment » Monitoring the production process, including performing tests and checks » Following SOPs/operational instructions and procedures, including those from Team Leaders » Always maintaining good personal and plant hygiene What we are looking for: » A solid understanding of food safety, food quality, and food hygiene requirements » Experience in food manufacturing or production process (FMCG) environment » Ability to operate a range of production equipment » Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills » Basic to intermediate level computer literacy » A health and safety champion that supports a safe and drug free workplace » A knowledge of clean down processes » Ability to work either in a team or on your own using your initiative » Ability to identify and report issues and risks with production equipment » Solid mechanical aptitude » A reasonable level of fitness with the ability to lift up to 20kg » Willingness to operate on a 4 on, 4 off night shift roster between the hours of 6pm to 6am and day shift between the hours of 6am to 6pm. » A current forklift and first aid certificate would be an advantage, but training can be arranged.
