Te Whiwhinga mahi |The Opportunity
Are you a registered health professional with a passion for improving people's lives? Do you want to utilize your clinical skills and your leadership abilities skills? Join us as Team Coach of our Community Mobile support service located in the beautiful River City of Whanganui.

You will be responsible for inspiring and leading an amazing team of committed, confident, and compassionate support workers. Develop and grow your team to work top of their scope as community support workers, whilst growing and developing your own career.

Be part of great partnerships that deliver; including working alongside Te Whatu Ora, Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues and the wider community to support tangata whai ora and their wh?nau.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. Additionally, you will be supported to be part of a rotating after hours on-call roster.
Responsibilities include:
   » Building and maintain relationships with clinical services, health, and social services or with other non-governmental organisations to implement personalised plans.
   » Develop significant and collaborative relationships with the wider community.
   » Provide regular coaching and be focused on inspiring every member of your team.
   » Support the team in their mahi. You will need a sharp, adaptive, and conscientious mind with a little sprinkling of awesome.
   » You will need to think outside the box often to find the best possible results for your team and those they support.
   » Ensure the efficient and effective use ofresources.
M?u | You
You will have:
   » A current New Zealand Health registration (Nurse, OT, Social Worker, Psychologist or Addictions Counsellor)
   » Have?clinical work practicein working in mental health and addiction.
   » A current full New Zealand driver'slicense.?
   » A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.?
   » Proven leadership abilities practice
   » Ademonstrated capability and cultural competence in working with M?ori.?
