About us
Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, creates and supports safe, healthy, inspiring and ICT enabled learning environments. EIS manages the Crown’s second largest property portfolio of around 2,100 schools with a book value of $18.3 billion, is responsible for the largest payroll in the country, and transports over 100,000 students to and from school each day.
About the function
This is an exciting opportunity for an practiced Coordinator to assist with the development and implementation of a new initiative, the Improving Classroom in Small or Remote Schools Programme.
You will work closely with the Programme Manager as well as other internal and external stakeholders and will support the delivery of the Programme through its lifecycle.
Your key priorities will include:
   » Supporting Programme Managers in the management of the programme
   » Providing procurement and contract management support
   » Ensuring the administration of programme is correctly managed with all required information, including cost reporting and monthly reporting
About you
The ideal candidate for this function will be an organised and proactive self-starter with the capability to build relationships quickly.
Key success factors for this function are:
   » practice in effectively managing non-complex end to end projects to deliver prosperous programme and organisational results
   » The capacity to support the management of concurrent activities and/or working on multiple concurrent projects at different phases
   » Outstanding written and verbal communication expertise and strong computer expertise
   » Proven track record of strong customer focus and stakeholder relationship management
   » Confidence in being the point of contact between the Ministry and internal and external stakeholders
   » Strong administrative, planning and organising expertise
   » Employing a solutions located approach to problem solving
