Industrial ElectricianLocation New PlymouthTaranaki Job type Full Time Salary to Category Trades and Services > Electrical » Immediate start » Overtime available when required » Career progression Duties: » Accurately record labour in timesheets » Accurately and clearly record job information on job sheets » Accurately record purchase order numbers when purchasing materials for jobs » Accurately storing job documentation to the company server » Others tasks as required within reason » Working with and supervising sub-contractors work » No complaints from customer or co-workers » No returning to redo work » No returning to complete a missed component of job » Team members working effectively together » Project goals and objectives are met » No complaints regarding non-compliance of policies » Zero Harm » Provide exceptional high quality electrical work to our customers including: install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical wiring, equipment and machinery. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical installations. » Perform all work in compliance with the Electricity Act 1992, the Electrical Safety Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 Qualifications/Training/Experience: » NZ registered Electrician with current practicing licence » 2 years minimum experience - preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Holds current certificates in Hazard ID, Permit to Work, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Detection would be advantageous » PLC/machines/control logics experience is desirable Interpreting diagrams and diagnostics General knowledge of health & safety acts and regulations » Strong knowledge of industry's Acts, Regulations and standards Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit. To be success must pass a pre-employment drug screen and complete a ministry of justice criminal record check. Own transport is a must.
