Yardperson/ Forklift OperatorLocation Hutt ValleyWellington Job type Temporary Salary to Category Construction & Architecture > Labourer » Immediate start available! » Fast paced team role » F endorsment and OSH required We are looking for a personable, health and safety conscious go getter to join our client's small team in Lower Hutt. This is an ongoing full-time role, 40-hours per week. Pay rate of $26p/h. Opportunity for permanent employment for the right person. About the role: - Load and unload orders from delivery trucks. - Fill customer orders accurately and efficiently. - Be proactive in stock taking and cycle counts. - Comply to all health and safety policies and procedures. - Identify and report hazards. - Maintain a safe working area. About you: - Must have an F endorsement, (Class 2 advantageous but not required) - Like dealing with people - Ability to follow health and safety policies - Able to work outdoors and be on your feet for long periods of time - Able to lift 20-25kgs - Building supply knowledge advantageous (but not required) - Have own transport - Not afraid to have fun All applicants will be required to undergo ACC, Criminal Conviction background checks as well as a pre-employment drug screen. Must have Citizenship/Residency or Working Visa. Overseas applicants will not be considered.
