The Accountant will be expected to perform the following tasks: » Sorting of client financial records » Coding of financial data » Discussing queries with clients » Preparation of GST returns » Prepare work papers file for annual accounts » Preparing and reviewing financial statements » Prepare Income Tax returns » Finalizing Financial Statements and Income Tax returns following partner review » Sorting out ACC issues with clients » Communicating with IRD regarding client affairs » Other ad hoc advisory jobs for clients as required » Other miscellaneous jobs around the office Qualifications: » Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. » Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.). » 3-4 years of experience as an Intermediate Accountant. » 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role. » Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. » Proficient in relevant accounting software.
