Te Kotahi Research Institute (TKRI) engages in research that contributes to enhancing the well-being of Iwi, M?ori, and Indigenous communities. The Institute further supports the work of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor M?ori to sustain relationships and develop research capacity among staff and students. Te Kotahi promotes and encourages research with scholars across disciplines while realising the research needs and aspirations of iwi. Ng? k?rero m? te t?ranga – About the function In this function you conduct high quality research and contribute to expertise development that focuses on Iwi research, m?tauranga M?ori or M?ori Data Sovereignty, and the integration of m?tauranga into policy. In addition, you will develop research proposals and collaborate with academics and key stakeholders. Ko wai koe? – Who are you? You will have a PhD with a M?ori research background along with a record of research and publishing as well as an active programme of scholarship. You should also have research expertise and in-depth expertise in domains that can be applied to one of the focus areas. You will be self-motivated and proactive with a proven capability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be able to work under pressure.
