Group is seeking a ?can do? senior generalist who is passionate about: » driving authentic two-way communications and engagement with wh?nau, key stakeholders, media, customers and external audiences » growing and empowering the cultural and language capcapability of wh?nau » building strong stakeholder relationships » managing media relations. Working closely with the Senior leadership abilities Team, this function will be a key driver of the external communications strategy. For the right candidate this function can be located anywhere in Aotearoa. What you will bring To be prosperous in this function you will: » Have senior practice (four or more years) prosperously driving external communications and engagement initiatives end to end » Ideally, be proficient (at level 5 or above) in te reo M?ori me ?na tikanga, and be able to put te ao M?ori at the heart of story telling » Be practiced in building sustainable authentic relationships with stakeholders, particularly wh?nau and M?ori stakeholders » Be a strategic thinker with a proven capability to manage reputational risks and media relations » Have an exceptional capability to create and present relatable content for different audiences via a range of channels » Have demonstrated project management expertise » Be digitally savvy, with strong social media expertise.
