Concert Operations Manager (Contract function):Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Chamber Music New Zealand Closes 13 Jan 2023 Posted on 13 Dec 2022 Region Wellington Work type Contract Work classification Community & Access Arts, Music, Performing Arts Share»Exciting function working with a diverse range of artists and audiences in professional venues »Help plan and execute high quality concert practices About the function The Concert Operations Manager's function is to manage and supervise the operational needs of CMNZ concerts and events in Wellington, including: » Planning and implementing concerts » Hosting artists and meeting their needs as required » Preparing reports and returns on concerts » Assisting with concert-related pre and post-concert functions The Concert Operations Manager is the person on the ground in each centre where CMNZ Series concerts are presented. Information technology is a vital function in which local expertise and a network of local contacts can assist CMNZ with event management and planning. The Concert Operations Manager works closely with the Front of House Manager, venue event coordinators and back of house staff to ensure the safe and efficient running of concerts. About You You will be highly organised and expertiseable about the inner workings of concert events. You will havewell-developed relationship management and interpersonal expertise, with the capability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
