Here is your opportunity to work with an innovative teamin a rapidly growing teaching programme, and contribute to developing, planning and implementing learning practices for students in violence and trauma studies. The position will be located at AUT’s South Auckland campus but will require occasional across campus teaching.
The appointee’s primary function will be to facilitate the delivery of post-graduate courses and in supervising postgraduate students. They will also contribute to research aligning with these programmes, and the strategic priorities of the broader school, and the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University.
The appointee will have a significant doctoral qualification with teaching practice at tertiary level in a field that is aligned with violence and trauma, conflict studies, structural and political violence, hauora M?ori and/or Indigenous health. The appointee will preferably have practice supervising postgraduate students and a track record of research and publications.
The appointee will embrace the vision and values of the school, faculty and university and commit to continuing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme while adhering to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, which is central to the mission and work of the University.
