Farm adjunct/milker:Job description:Farm adjunct/milkerPayment: Accommodation & Paid (25)Job location: Clydevale, Otago Region: Dunedin/Invercargill practice: Limited practice Necessary Listing Added: 18/06/2022 We are seeking for someone (or 2 people) to join our team from the start of August. We are flexible on the function, however Information technology would be great to have someone (or a couple/friends) until at least the end of October to get us through our busy period. Your own comfortable and warm 1 bedroom cottage accommodation is furnished and available. We do live rurally and about 30mins from the closest towns with supermarkets, so a car would be handy for you to have. We are centrally located to the Catlins, Dunedin & Central Otago (Queenstown etc), so its not too far to go to explore on your days off. We have 600 cows calving from the beginning of August. We milk through a 50 bale rotary shed - ideally some farm practice would be valuable so you can pick up the job easily but we are happy to train the right person. Biggest key attributes are capability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail, a love for animals and being reliable - it's important for our cows and team that we have someone committed. Roster is flexible however Information technology would be ideal if you could fit into our full time 6 on, 2 off roster. We are on instagram - @penultodairies if you'd like to see a few photos!
