Working in collaboration across the various ATC teams, and with artists and companies to deliver outstanding theatre works for the audiences of T?maki Makaurau, the ATC Producer is a pivotal function. If working at pace amidst constant change excites you, come and be part of the engine room of the company. We're looking for a person with the following attributes: » A big heart for the performing arts industry » Demonstrated knowledge of realising complex, large-scale theatre productions » Expert builder of interpersonal relationships » Advanced knowledge and practice working within different cultural contexts » A developed producing practice and practice working with a broad range of theatre artists including Directors, Actors, Designers, Crews and Suppliers » A calm, pragmatic, generous approach » Adept at dealing with complex change on a everyday basis » Adaptcapability in the moment with superb listening, negotiation and coordination expertise » A rock solid and intimate knowledge of the process of creating predominantly text located live theatre » A keen sense of humour » An appetite to strive for continuous improvement across systems and processes and the producing practice If you have five plus years working professionally in the live performing arts as a Producer, we would love to hear from you. This is a full-time, permanent function predominantly located at the Dominion Road rehearsal studios and office, which includes some evening and weekend work engagements.
