We are currently growing our team and looking to employ a Whanau Social Worker or Whanau Support Worker who wants to be part of an innovative, transformative, and professional team that holds people at the centre of our vision, mission, values, and practice. Hours of work and rates of pay are negotiable depending on the most appropriate applicant. A Social Work qualification is desirable but not necessary. Good working knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Reo, and kawa is essential as well as a full driver's license and the legal capability to work in Aotearoa New Zealand. You will have an knowledge of Family Violence and be able to engage with whanau/family with the support they need to become safe and resilient by » Assessing and co-ordinating requirements for families at risk » Providing medium to high wrap-around family support for families/whanau located on intake and assessment, goal setting, monitoring, and evaluations You will also contribute to the intake roster, the court referred Supervised Contact, and Strengthening Families meetings.
