Te Mana W?hine Pathway tautoko’s the Corrections system to be more effective by increasing our use of Kaupapa M?ori and wh?nau-centred approaches to our mahi. The vision for Te Mana W?hine is A coordinated, seamless end-to-end Kaupapa M?ori practice for W?hine M?ori in Ara Poutama Aotearoa.
We are seeking for a Communications Adviser to support us as we embrace the challenges of this new way of working, along with knowledge the need to work using a kaupapa M?ori and wh?nau centric approach for the benefit of w?hine in our care and their wh?nau.
The income bracket for this position is $66,411 – $93,756 (pro-rata).

To be prosperous in your application you will need strong verbal and written communication expertise, show you’re anexcellent multi-tasker and self-starter,along with the capability to demonstrate the following:
   » Be creative in the way you communicate, inspiring those who are part of the new way of working, and explain to others the ?why and how? we are doing this
   » Understand the importance of our values, and socialise and advocate the Te Mana W?hine Pathway approach in your function
   » Identify opportunities that will enhance how we are able to share the story of Te Mana W?hine Pathway
   » Be comfortable, confident and respectful at working in a tikanga M?ori environment.
