We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in NZ vertical construction to join one of the largest construction companies in New Zealand. With over 112 years of construction history, this is a truly New Zealand company that values its people and is committed to growing its proud legacy throughout the country.

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will need to have 2-3 years of experience in commercial construction and be able to work autonomously and within a team. You should also have a strong understanding of construction materials and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include supporting Construction and Project Managers, administering site trades and subcontractors, ensuring QA is completed to meet specifications, and promoting job safety and company culture. You will also need to have a good understanding of the New Zealand Building Code, Health and Safety at Work Act, and other relevant acts, regulations, and codes and their application to the building and construction process. Additionally, you will assist with reporting and financial acumen to ensure projects run on-time and within budgets.
