Use your advanced psychology or psychotherapy expertise to provide expert analysis and advise and facilitate client recovery from injury.
With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. As a proven healthcare professional, you will be practiced at providing people with care, respect, evidence-located support and will have a positive outlook. You have wide practice in providing clinical input to clients and are familiar with the New Zealand health landscape. You are currently working in a clinical setting, and you wish to add a new part-time function to your work life to upskill and diversify in the next stage of your career.

We are seeking for from you is the following:
   » practice as a psychologist or psychotherapist with a broad expertise of different areas of psychological dysfunction, including the effects of sexual abuse, physical injury, and traumatic brain injury
   » expertise in the classification and assessment of psychological conditions
   » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise
   » Quick, flexible, astute, and analytical thinking
   » You are registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board or the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand
What you will be doing:
Your expertise and abilities would be put to good use in a medico-legal setting.
You will review clinical information, seek clarification, work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, provide verbal and written advice, and support internal and external stakeholders to make the best decisions on claims and to facilitate prosperous rehabilitation results for ACC clients.
