Regional Contracts Manager - Whangarei, Northland Region
Permanent, Full Time (37.55 hours per week)

About the function
Reporting to the Northland Regional Commissioner for Social Development you will be responsible for ensuring the effective purchase and management of contracted services for our clients. In addition to your people management responsibilities you will develop and lead the strategic direction for Northland. Your solid knowledge of social and or economic/business development enables you to ensure that Work and Income's purchasing power is used to its full potential to meet our clients' needs. A key part of this function is developing and maintaining strong relationships and networks across a range of industry partners as well as monitoring the performance and vicapability of contracted service arrangements.

About you
You have broad practice in budget management and financial reporting as well as the proven capability to set and lead effective strategic direction at a senior level. You're a skilled negotiator, who is strongly committed to achieving goals and quality results. Relationship Management is one of your natural strengths, empowering you to influence and negotiate results at a senior level with ease. A significant qualification in finance, procurement, business or management is highly advantageous.
