Who are we?
Te K?tuku Ki Te Rangi Charitable Trust is a kaupapa M?ori organisation established in 2001 to provide support and care for M?ori (and non-M?ori) who practice a mental health discapability.
We aim to achieve prosperous healing and recovery of T?ngata Whaiora through the provision of a range of high-quality support and care services. T?ngata Whaiora are at the heart of everything we do.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking for 3x Registered Social Workers, OT or similar who are energetic, practiced, and motivated to lead a team in our Residential Houses in West Auckland.
You will lead a team in supporting T?ngata Whaiora to achieve everyday chores, planned appointments and goal setting.
As the Lead you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the whare including all administration requirements from Infection Control, Health and Safety through to whare budget management.
As the Lead you will also be key in the development and wellbeing of the kaimahi that work in the whare.
As the Lead you must be able to promote and function model Te Reo M?ori me ?na tikanga M?ori.
The Whare available:
   » Hinepiripiri – 7 bed female T?ngata Whaiora Home and Recovery facility located in Henderson/Ranui
   » Marangatahi – 5 bed male T?ngata Whaiora Home and Recovery facility located in Te Atatu Peninsula
   » Respite – 6 bed Planned Adult Crisis Respite facility located in Te Atatu South
What you will bring:
   » Full registration with New Zealand’s Social Work Registration Board (SWRB) or similar. If you are currently provisional or working through your registration; we will assist the right applicant with this.
   » A full New Zealand, clean, current drivers' license
   » Excellent written and oral communication expertise
   » Demonstration of resilience, problem solving techniques and flexibility
   » Excellent time management and organisational expertise
   » Strong PC and Microsoft Office Suite expertise with report writing expertise
   » knowledge of Te Reo M?ori and tikanga M?ori
   » Must be able to drive a 10-seater van
