We work with the likes of The Veils, Ty Segall, Nadia Reid, Bikini Kill, Diggy Dupé, BROODS, The Chills, Vieux Farka Toure, Anthonie Tonnon, Frank Booker, Tiny Ruins, Pavement, Lucy Dacus and so much more. We are seeking for someone to jump in and fill this junior function with us, to grow as we do, and be an important and valued part of our small team who punches above its weight. The Events & Marketing Coordinator will assist the team with the day to day operations of the company including; logistics planning, routing tours, marketing assistance, social media & event listings and basic production administration on tours all over New Zealand. They will be responsible for assisting the planning and implementation of marketing for our domestic tours, and working closely with the Operations Manager to create these bespoke campaigns for each tour. The Events & Marketing Coordinator will also; » Assist with production advancing with venues and suppliers » Create day sheets and schedules for upcoming events and festival bookings » Assist with logistics, planning and travel bookings for upcoming tours » Attend our events » Communicate with our artists and keep them informed » Keep our website, social media sites and event listings updated » Coordinate temporary staff If you don't have any training in marketing, then don't stress! We can help you in this area of the business. We just want someone who is interested and willing to learn, and someone who has; » Some expertise of the music industry in New Zealand » expertise of the Google Suite » practice with event listing platforms (Eventfinda, Under The Radar, Facebook) and social media (Facebook and Instagram) » Great written and verbal communication expertise » Is fanatical about detail These things are essential: » Proven history of work and/or volunteer practice at live events or in event planning space » We need a fast learner, this is a fast paced environment and the capability to soak up expertise quickly is essential » You need to be tech-savvy and be able to lgain new software quickly » You will be open-minded and have zero tolerance for bigotry or prejudice of any kind » You want to make a positive impact in the music industry » A solution-oriented person who stays calm under pressure » You're ambitious, and strive to always do your best » You can easily juggle multiple projects and tasks » You are a forward thinker, highly motivated and full of initiative » You are kind and supportive to the great people we work alongside These things would be a plus but are not required to apply! » Formal training or practice in a marketing focused function » Full New Zealand Drivers Licence » Some expertise of technical and production advancing The prosperous applicant will work closely with the operations manager, & company director on all operational matters. This position is part to fulltime, somewhere between 3-5 days to be discussed with our perfect candidate, starting in February 2023 and remuneration will be located on practice and skill set.
