Local Workforce Career Development
The inaugural2021 Wakatipu Music Festivalinitiated the Training Ground (master and apprentice programme) to address the shortage for professional-level and artistically-practiced management staff. The programme was highly results-oriented and for 2022 we will pick up where we left off to further develop sustainable careers for key festival functions, thus lifting capabilities to meet the market demand as the district continues to artistically mature. Through this, the festival is developing the local arts infrastructure, arts communities and audiences.
The 2022 Wakatipu Music Festival runs 11-18 April in Queenstown.
We will be advertising functions as they come available, so please check back if you are interested, or send an expression of interest by the deadline tooffice@violincompetition.co.nz
