We're looking for Somebody with a demonstrated capability to inspire and lead a team. You'll be positive, energetic, organised and a great communicator.
 
Summary
We're looking for an inspirational and skilled leader to join our Pathways North Taranaki Residential Service, located in Vogeltown, New Plymouth as a Team Coach.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. Additionally, you will be part of a rotating after hours on-call roster.
You will ensure the efficient and effective use of resources for the team while fostering innovation and improvement to ensure our service offering is the best Information technology can be. You will be part of the Northern and Taranaki leadership abilities team and be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager. You will be leading a team of Support Workers and provide regular coaching and be focused on inspiring every member of your team to exceed their personal best in everything they do.

The Team
You'll be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager and leading a team of Support Workers working at one of our residential sites to provide responsive support to people living in their own units. You will be helping those people we support to become independent in their living. This service supports people to ultimately gain the expertise to live well in the community of their choice. We have a friendly, supportive and diverse team environment, where a good sense of humor is essential.
 
You
You will have?clinical work practicein working in mental health and addiction settings. You will also haveleadership abilities practiceand will be?able to unite and motivate a team through your positive, energetic andorganisedleadership abilities.?As well as having great leadership abilities and people expertise, you'll also have demonstrated the capability to work well within the residential setting, and the wider community and social sector such as DHBs, PHOs, other NGOs to implement personalised plans.
You are a strategic thinker, who is confident using data to inform decisions, has great computer literacy and practice with report writing.
Our ideal candidate:
   » A Registered Health Professional with a current practicingcertificate (Nurse/Occupational Therapist/ Social Worker) with capability to work within mental health
   » Minimum two years of significant practice in Mental health and addictions environment
   » leadership abilities practice with excellent interpersonal, expertise, problem-solving abilities and the capability to challenge, inspire, influence, and coach your team.
   » capability to work well with other services such as DHBs, PHOs, and the wider community and social sector.
   » Strong commitment to a recovery focused framework.
   » capability to develop and sustain working relationships with key stakeholders.
   » A demonstrated capability and cultural competence in working with M?ori.
   » A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
   » A current full New Zealand drivers license.
   » An knowledge of what you need for your own wellbeing.
