For the uninitiated, each year HGAF encompasses the full spectrum of performing arts - where comedy, dance, music, and theatre mingle and merge against the backdrop of the enchanting Hamilton Gardens. As we continue to grow into one of New Zealand's largest regional arts festivals, we've expanded beyond the Gardens, along the mighty Waikato River and into the CBD. Venues include the Meteor, Clarence St Theatre and Victoria on the River (to name but a few). We are now welcoming submissions for both new and existing works and we're particularly interested in proposals for site-specific performances that can be brought to life in the Hamilton Gardens.
