Due to the nature of the role, applicants should be motivated in delivering a consistent level of accuracy, professionalism and an exemplary understanding on general accounting processes, procedures and supporting tools across the division. Expectations of the role: » Accuracy in the production of allocated profit & loss statements, alongside the maintenance of allocated balance sheets. » Competent in reviewing periodic accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with divisional timetables, accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements. » Consistency in upholding an exceptional level of understanding relating to financial reporting and general ledger structure. Responsibilities: » Collaborate with the general accounting team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. » Individually responsible for the preparation of reports relevant to the statutory bodies on finance, taxation obligations (including fringe benefits & tax returns) and business activity statements. » General analysis on the accounting processes, which include identifying more efficient procedures which can be implemented to improve company standards. » To play an active role in training and support for business personnel. » Participation in the external financial audit process.
