Managed by IPAG, we are on the hunt for an engaging and upbeat person with practice in public engagement and a love of arts, culture and heritage. The position is 18 hours a week and includes Saturdays. OurPublic Engagement Co-ordinatorsare the face of He Waka Tuia. The prosperous applicant will work to provide friendly and valuable information about the space and its exhibitions, while ensuring that all visitors receive a consistently high standard of care. The prosperous candidate will play a key function in the team by providing social media and administrative support for exhibitions and public programming. As the eyes and ears of the space, they will be expected to keep the space clean, tidy and inviting to visitors, while providing a security presence. The Public Engagement Co-ordinatorwill be comfortable with interacting and knowledge the needs of visitors from many different backgrounds. Knowledge of Te Reo M?ori and tikanga would be an advantage. Excellent computer literacy expertise and an eye for detail are a must and as well as being available to work set days each week.
