Clinical Manager - Ready for a changeLocation All TaranakiTaranaki Job type Permanent Salary to Category Medical > Nursing - Aged Care » Central location » 40 hours mon-Fri » Relocation support available As a Clinical Nurse Manager with experience, you'll be responsible for leading the clinical team at the facility. You'll inspire and motivate the team to maintain our excellent standards, providing adequate orientation and ongoing training to ensure a safe environment for residents. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that the facility meets Health & Disability Sector Standards for quality care. Some of your duties will include providing orientation and learning packages for new staff, completing all associated documentation and checklists, maintaining a professional waiting list database with high levels of consumer contact, completing all reporting requirements and clinical manager orientation checklists, ensuring that clinical staff are trained in clinical risks and reporting procedures, and designing rosters to best utilize staffing and resources. To be successful in this role, you'll need at least 5 years of experience in aged care, relevant tertiary qualifications such as a Registered General Nurse, recent experience in clinical or management in a continuing care hospital facility, strong management and administration skills, people skills with empathy for the elderly and their families, and good written and verbal communication skills.
