Working at the Department of Internal Affairs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders.
In the Digital Public Service/Te K?tui Whitiwhiti Branch, we work across the public service to connect, influence, and support the system to take advantage of new digital opportunities. We also support the Government Chief Digital agent (GCDO) to drive the government's digital transformation and position government to succeed in a changing and evolving digital age.
We have a short-term secondment or contract opportunity for an Architecture Consultant.
   » Do you work in digital and have a passion for delivering system level architectural advice for the benefit of all government organisations?
We need you. You'll be providing architectural advice on of system development and integration to ensure that significant strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied.
To be prosperous in this function you will need strong subject matter skills in the following:
   » Cloud and infrastructure architecture, frameworks, technologies including public cloud technologies, cloud hosting and networking design patterns.
   » Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) delivery, Microservice, and API-led architecture and integration design.
   » Application and integration architecture, frameworks and technologies.
   » Software and scripting frameworks.
