Archives New Zealand sits within the Information and expertise Services branch, the Department's epicentre of information management, culture and heritage. We preserve and protect more than seven million official records, from 19th century treaties to 21st century documents and data. As an Archives Support adjunct you will be joining a team delivering administrative and process-oriented work to a range of Archives services. We retrieve and issue files for the public, process digitisation requests and cover reception. Each day is different and to succeed in this function, you will need the following:
• capability to set priorities and achieve deadlines
• capability to meet the needs of internal and external clients
• capability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion
• Be well organised and with good attention to detail
• Able to work with digital files to meet distribution and end user requirements
