Key Job responsibilities: » Analyse the competitive forces and trends that influence the local/regional market that the organization, it's suppliers and customers operate in and derive significant recommendations » Use monitoring and control processes or systems to manage risk in procurement and supply » Encourage and manage innovation in the supply chain using appropriate tools and techniques (cross functional working, Simultaneous engineering, supplier forums and associations) » Work with key stakeholders and suppliers to create improvements to data and reporting to enable informed decision making and transparency of spend and resolve problems when the data gathered is not sufficient » Involve and support all management and support processes for corporate procurement, e.g. implementing procurement strategy, procurement governance, controlling, HR and Information technology management Minimum Requirements: » Functional procurement knowledge » Local Sourcing optimization (Market analysis, Optimization levers, Cost analysis, etc.) » practice with transactional procurement procedures (tenders, negotiations, contracting, purchase to pay) including knowledge for public procurement if applicable » significant technological knowledge and practice of the local / regional supply market are an advantage » Information technology expertise including SAP, MS Office, and other Procurement applications » If you have the required expertise, hit APPLY NOW to submit your CV and cover letter outlining why you will be prosperous in this function.
