The selected candidate will play a crucial role in various responsibilities vital to the firm's success. The Accountant will be responsible for: » Sorting client financial records » Coding financial data » Addressing client queries » Preparing GST returns » Compiling work papers for annual accounts » Reviewing and preparing financial statements » Completing Income Tax returns » Finalizing Financial Statements and Income Tax returns after partner review » Resolving ACC issues with clients » Liaising with the IRD regarding client affairs » Undertaking ad hoc advisory tasks for clients as necessary » Handling miscellaneous office tasksQualifications: » Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. » Professional accounting - like to have, not a must (CA ) » 3-4 years of experience as an Intermediate Accountant. » 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role. » Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. » Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
