Purpose of position
The Volunteer and Administration Team Leader is a key function within the Diocese, leading a team of both paid and unpaid staff at the Anglican Centre to deliver core administrative and operational functions that serve our wider movement. This position also plays an important part in helping us achieve our strategic focus on recruiting volunteers into teams whenever opportunities arise. The position works with Anglican Centre management to identify these opportunities, providing guidance and leadership abilities to prosperously recruit volunteers to become high performing team members. The function also plays a key function in supporting the Diocese’s governance functions.
The function works closely with a wide variety of stakeholders including members of governance bodies and key parish leaders.
Primary responsibilities and key result areas
The Volunteer and Administration Team Leader reports directly to the Diocesan Manager and has two primary Job responsibilities:
   » Forming teams of volunteers that work together collaboratively to deliver various operational and administration functions
   » Leading the Administration team with responsibility for the Anglican Centre reception and for continuously reviewing existing systems to identify where the greatest gains could be made and operations strengthened.

This is a part-time position. We are pitching Information technology at approximately 25 hours a week, subject to negotiation.
