Our client is looking for a clinical psychologist to join the forensic inpatient services. You would be working across the Regional Intellectual Disability Secure Services.
You'll be part of a team of clinical psychologists who are already working together. They'll encourage your professional interests and welcome your expertise in psychological assessment and treatment for individuals and groups.
As an active and valued member of a multi-disciplinary team, you'll collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based care and rehabilitation according to the Model of Care, which is based on psychological theory and frameworks like the Good Lives Model of Offender Rehabilitation and Positive Behaviour Support.
Besides direct clinical work, you'll have opportunities to contribute to improving services. The Intellectual Disability Service is expanding, and psychological knowledge, theory, and process are highly welcomed.
The successful candidate will receive support from the broader network of clinical psychologists in MHAIDS.
