Job Opportunity: Kaimanaaki Practice Lead ? Full Time / Permanent:HRAdmin_OdysseyJob description:Job DescriptionOdyssey supports T?ngata Whai Ora and their wh?nau to flourish and enjoy wellbeing and recovery through the delivery of effective, evidence-located community and residential services.Working primarily with people experiencing alcohol, other drug or gambling related harms, we also support T?ngata Whai Ora who may be living with mental distress, trauma, disconnection, and compromised states of mauri and wairua. We are now seeking a permanent full-time Kaimanaaki Practice Lead to join us, located at Ng? Wai (our leadership abilities and Service Support Hub) in New Windsor, West Auckland. As Kaimanaaki Practice Lead, the function draws on M?tauranga M?ori, monitors the integrity of the tikanga and kawa across the organisation and supports our workforce to offer culturally safe services. To be effective in this function you will have practice and be confident in Te Ao M?ori, Te Reo M?ori and the implementation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. You will have practice working clinically within the addiction sector including demonstrated capcapability to support, mentor and train kaimahi. Our Kaimanaaki Practice Lead needs to be passionate about working with T?ngata Whai Ora and wh?nau, as well as committed to enhancing and protecting their mana while they are manuhiri at Odyssey. You will be able to work creatively and productively to create an environment where T?ngata Whai Ora and kaimahi can meet their full potential. Our pou (or pillars) - tika, pono, kaitiaki, manaaki and aroha - are the foundation of our work and relationships.
