These are exciting opportunities to work with a well-established company who are passionate about their people and offer genuine career progression and development. Job Location : Waikato Employment type : Full time /Permanent Days Required : Monday to Friday. Maybe occasionally required to work on weekends Hours per week : Minimum of 30 hours per week from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Hourly rate : $25.00 to $26.00 depending on experience Job Description » Taking Measurements » Assisting carpenters and hammer hands on daily site tasks » Loading and unloading construction materials, tools and equipment » Managing on-site materials » Erecting and dismantling temporary structures » Using power tools and machinery when needed » Putting up warning signs for vehicles and passers-by » Helping with setting up and transferring temporary structures » Other general labouring roles as required » Maybe occasionally required to travel to other locations to work on landmark projects across New Zealand Job pre-requisites » Experience in construction, would be an advantage (not a must as we will provide training) » Be comfortable using power tools » Having a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and presentable appearance » Hard-working, punctual, and a positive "can do" attitude » Be physically fit » Have willingness to learn » Be confident working autonomously, and Health & Safety Flexibility to work in different sites & ability to work extra hours when required. » Clean driver's License & reliable transport » Clean police records and ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests » Have valid NZ open work permit Please apply online and attach a current CV and any relevant employment related certificates.
