This is an autonomous function, where you will be growing an existing customer base, but also looking for new opportunities in the market. About the function The purpose of this function is to manage and grow your customer base from Oamaru to Invercargill in the joinery and kitchen design market. This will involve: » Maintaining a call cycle which will include overnight travel across your territory » Visiting customers to understand their requirements » Working with customers to get your products specified in their plans » New business development » Meeting and exceeding your sales targets » Preparing proposals and pricing About you Our ideal candidate has practice working selling hardware or building products, and ideally has an existing network of customers in the joinery or kitchen design market. Alternatively, you may have also had hands on practice in the building trade which will be looked on favourably. You will be driven, self-motivated, and able to manage a call cycle effectively.
