Our close-knit team located at Capital E are looking for someone to coordinate the safe, cost efficient and timely delivery of technical and production aspects of our live theatre productions and events. this function contributes to the operation and delivery an artistically robust, innovative programmes. Additionally, this function will be contributing to the production ofthe biennial Capital E National Arts Festival.

Capital E are part of practice Wellington, who as a small organisation punch above our weight, working together with and for Wellington to create remarkable practices that generate vitality, strengthening the city we love. We offer incredible audience practices across our six sites; City Gallery Wellington, Capital E, Wellington Museum, Space Place, Cable Car Museum and Nairn Street Cottage.

We're looking for someone who:
   » is an practice theatre technical and has toured theatre shows across New Zealand
   » can develop technical riders and clearly communicate our requirements to venues
   » can maintain our technical touring equipment in prime condition
   » demonstrates high levels of organisational and planning abilities
   » will helping our people flourish by keeping our teams safe in everything they do
   » will maintain good working relationships with our suppliers and significant industry players, keeping up to date with new technologies and ways of working
   » has a working knowledge of the Guide for Safe Working Practices in the Theatre and Entertainment Industry, can embed these practices in our work and can write and use risk analysis matrices
   » bring high energy, a proactive can do attitude and will work with us to make great things happen for tamariki and rangatahi of Aotearoa.
