A great place to work! Shift start 5am - 3pm/4pm (May finish earlier dependent on work). On average 45 hour weeks Mon - Fri Production worker tasks may involve feeding sheets into the machines, folding towels, feeding towels, lifting and carrying, general production line work within the factory. Will involve some repetitive work, manual handling and physical work » Need to be reliable, punctual and high level of health and safety. » Must wear closed in and comfortable shoes at all times and have hair tied back. Laundry Attendant Responsibilities : » Be responsible for ensuring all laundered items quality is of a very high standard » Ensure that all linen washing, drying, and folding schedules are prioritised and completed in a timely manner » Ensure the correct use of equipment in a safe and efficient manner on every occasion » Pressing linen » Quality checking of all items as required » Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team » Adhere to policies relating to fire, hygiene and occupational health and safety » Utilise all safety equipment provided in day-to-day work » Ensure familiarity with all chemicals used in the department, maintaining correct storage and usage What we need from you : » Honest, dependable, and positive attitude » Flexible and uses initiative » Physically fit and able to stand for long periods » Great interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team » Experience would be an advantage but not necessary » You must be a citizen or permanent resident in New Zealand; or the holder of an open work Visa If this sounds like you please hit APPLY NOW Or call us on 0800 4233 226 Adecco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
