With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. We’re looking for a highly practiced Procurement Specialist to work as part of the team. this function is about being a subject matter expert on the Government Procurement Rules for the wider procurement team. That means you will need to be a trusted advisor and able to confidently provide and apply expert advice to any situation.
In return, the team’s particular focus on the commercial aspects within the healthcare market is an opportunity for you to develop and grow commercial capcapability to complement your procurement skill. We will assist you to develop your capability to maximise the interrelation between the Government Procurement Rules, running a healthcare business in New Zealand and commercial principles.
What you will bring to the function will include the following:
   » Detailed knowledge of the Government Procurement Rules, being a subject matter expert
   » A strong knowledge of the pressures currently faced by New Zealand businesses
   » Strong communication, negotiation and influencing expertise
   » Highly organised and able to manage and prioritise work, including managing stakeholder expectations
