Description: We're looking for Somebody with several years of practice as a professional programmer! You'll need to have enough expertise to be comfortable jumping into an established codebase, as well as setting up a new project from scratch. The work is highly collaborative, meaning that you'll be working closely with the rest of the programming team and our other departments, frequently performing code reviews and providing feedback. practice with Unity and C# would be beneficial. Due to Covid-19 travel and immigration restrictions, candidates must currently be living in New Zealand. We are able to assist with work visas. Tasks and Job responsibilities: » Designing and implementing systems for new and existing game titles with minimal supervision. » Critically review work of colleagues to verify consistency and correctness. » Regularly take part in code reviews, both offering and responding to feedback from your peers. » Supervising junior and intermediate programmers and offering guidance where necessary. » contact with the art and design departments to ensure robust knowledge of implementation details. » Working alongside others to influence the studio's workflow, tools, and technical direction. » Upskill junior and intermediate developers with regular time dedicated for mentoring.
