Being part of the larger Saint Clair organisation means the Vineyard Kitchen enjoys the small team, but with the support that comes with being part of a larger organisation. We are pursuing a highly motivated front of house wait staff person to join our team at the Saint Clair Vineyard Kitchen. The prosperous applicant will have excellent customer service expertise and a desire to provide the best practice possible to our customers. The position is available to commence February 2nd 2022 and will end 29th May 2022 tasks and responsibilities will include: » Serving customers and waiting on tables independently in an assigned section » Informing customers of specials and recommendations including wine suggestions » Upsell and regularly checking on additional drink requirements » Ensuring that guests are satisfied » Providing exceptional customer service » Taking payments (when required) » Pouring and serving wine » Carrying out cleaning tasks regularly » Upholding and following the Saint Clair Vineyard Kitchen standard operating procedures and brand image Previous hospitality practice is welcomed. Further in house training will be provided. Hourly rate will be located on practice and suitcapability to the function. The right candidate is expected to work on weekends and often on public holidays. Hours of work are usually 11am to 4pm Wednesday- Sunday (by way of roster).
