Senior Advisor (Digital Capcapability)
   » Do you have strong analytical and intellectual expertise, with capability to translate strategy into an operational plan in a digital context?
   » Do you enjoy to applying your expertise and practice in complex environments to influence and facilitate change in thinking and approach?
   » Are you recognised a trusted advisor, with excellent written and oral communication expertise?
   » Provide top quality operational policy advice to the Manager Product Management and Change
   » Work alongside Product Owners to help them translate strategic direction into the product roadmap/implementation plans for the specific digital products.

The Digital Public Service Branch works across the public service to connect, influence and support the system to take advantage of new digital opportunities. Information technology also supports the Government Chief Digital agent (GCDO) to drive the government's digital transformation and position government to succeed in a changing and evolving digital age.

About the function:
The function will be highly visible ensuring connectivity with other digital initiatives to implement the digital strategy. As Senior Advisor (Digital Capcapability), you will have the opportunity to:
   » Be a trusted advisor who provides insights, analysis and thought leadership abilities to support key decision makers.
   » Ensure each digital product has an accessibility roadmap and provide advice to the digital teams to ensure our digital products are compliant with web accessibility and uscapability standards requirements.
   » Engage credibly and prosperously with partner public service agencies and external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers and product vendors)
About you:
   » A strategic thinker with the capability to think understand the key challenges and opportunities across our products and how improvement in digital platforms can help agencies to address these big picture issues
   » A strong delivery practitioner with ambition to help develop and deliver across the portfolio, able to connect strategic goals with delivering real results
   » practice in providing fit for purpose, credible advice, which influences decision making and creates results
   » Strong influencing expertise to secure engagement from diverse stakeholder groups
   » Appreciation of the function and impact of technology change in the wider context of business capabilities, organisational model, people, and processes
   » Exceptional coaching and mentoring expertise with a proven capability to build capcapability utilising learning and encouraging accessibility.
