Job Description

As a Senior Strategy Advisor you will help shape the future for ACC and Aotearoa as part of the Strategy and Customer System team. Were looking for a strategic thinker with passion and curiosity for organisational strategy, future trends and strategic decision making.
The Strategy and Customer System supports the implementation and evolution of the ACC enterprise strategy. We help ACC take a deliberate and systematic approach to identifying strategic issues and making decisions. We work across the organisation and provide advice on future opportunities and challenges, with the goal of improving results for people in Aotearoa.
As a Senior Strategy Advisor, you will:
   » support the Strategy and Customer Systems team in the development of the enterprise strategy and related work
   » provide conceptual and analytical advice on strategy issues
   » work with internal and external strategy stakeholders
   » support the business with strategic thinking in the development of organisational action plans and projects.
A bit about you. You are recognised as a strategic thinker who is excited about the future of Aotearoa. You apply a partnership approach to your work and understand the value of being collaborative. You are a naturally curious person that embraces diversity and innovation. You have a talent for using evidence and data to inform your advice. And you have practice in developing and delivering strategies and plans underpinned by te ao Maori frameworks, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and matauranga Maori.
To be prosperous you’ll need to have the following:
   » A commitment to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi
   » At least two years practice in organisational strategy, including expertise of key strategic frameworks and approaches
   » Qualitative and quantitative analysis expertise to understand and advise on strategic decisions
   » Effective partnering, consulting and relationship management expertise with senior business leaders and a availability to collaborate
   » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise (including confidence and design capcapability in working with MS Word and MS Powerpoint)
   » practice leading and facilitating complex workshops and group discussions
   » A qualification or equivalent practice in business management, economics, population research, or a significant strategy discipline

Working at ACC
The base income range for this function is $114,022 to $147,558 with starting income depending on expertise and practice of the prosperous applicant. ACC also offers additional 9% superannuation.
